Day 2 25/04, Wed

0730 hrs: Breakfast @ hotel, a really simple fare(share some pics tomolo), then rushed to Hualien(花莲)station.

0805hrs: Bought tickets for Ruishuei(瑞穗) {NT$146/pax}, leaving @ 0813hrs.

Automated machine in more rural area(on my right), is not really computated, uses some funny buttons instead. So it may be quicker to buy over counter... Although, we got the tix, still muz clear queue and get our tix verified...so still a little rushing...

0915hrs: Reached Ruishuei(瑞穗), and although along the way, it seems like most station was not very well developed, we were pleasantly surprised...

Common scenery on the way, and Ruishuei station at 1st sight(frm platform). But once we looked out, there was plenty of stall, and was a decent suburb town...

Then we walked about a while and came back to the station area and rented a pair of bicycle(NT$100 each). After 15minsof cycling, we made it to the Hoya(虎爷)spa hotel, [瑞穗乡,瑞祥村,三邻,101号] {http://www.hoya-spa.com.tw/}.
*Cycling is actually quite enjoyable there with minimal traffic, somewhat like cycling in Singapore early on Sunday morning... seems like a good and cheap mood of transport, and extrememly enjoyable, with the nice fresh air and great view...

1030hrs:
The outdoor hot spring area does not appear to be what it seems as attractive as it was in the website.
However, we soon understand, the mud in the water is some kind of natural hot spring mud...
and with the movement of the Jacuzzi jets, it wasn't that bad lar...

Although we were the only 2 there, the kind auntie was saying during holidays it is very crowded in the past 4yrs of their operation.
Well, all in all, it was quite fun to have the whole place for ourselves, and had the great scenery along with it...

There we are... not too difficult to find, if you follow the map. The view from the pools, not too bad, and enjoyment of the outdoor...
The Hot spring pool, about 34 degree General fun pool, we didn't use that lar...
Temperature is shown in all 3 pool...34degree for the general one, and here is the 38.6 degree pool, next is the super-warm 42. Spa beds, among the jacuzzi jet features they have. As observed beside the bed, those are natural spring mud.

1130hrs:
Left the hot spring to find the RuiShuei farm(瑞穗牧场), butz... aiya, long story short, the auntie gave us some directions, but cannot find, so ended up with a leisure cycle amd back in town centre...

1300hrs:
Back in town centre to try some food, which is muz try if you come Ruishuei,瑞穗。

Yu Ma Ma dumplings. - http://tumm.com.tw-
[49号,中正北路]

Fantastic, I kinda like the no-nonsense dumplings with fishball soup...

Highly recommend Green Tea Meat Ball.-
[22号,中正北路]
Its like a large "pie" with a muah chee like green tea skin, and pork fillings...with a unique sauce.
butz the pork smell is quite strong, so Corine didn't quite like it..

1441hrs: Back to Hualien City(花莲市) @ NT$146, and more food and walking around...

Nice Kebab along Zhong Shan Rd(中山路)

扁食 and 肉挫饭, local common dish. Had this along Zhong Shan Rd(中山路) too.

Muz try freshly hand-made Muah Chee... frm Zeng Zi(曾记) http://www.1314.com.tw

2100hrs:
back at hotel, and done with this... tomolo, Ailishan... no updates, likely got no internet....
(Internet is provided at most hotel, bring your own latop and Lan cable)
